Institution owns its data

Your records remain yours. PathCheck acts as a service provider and never sells, rents, or markets against student data.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

All traffic is TLS-encrypted. Records are stored in an encrypted, managed Postgres database.

Role-based access

Directors, coordinators, reviewers, and read-only viewers each see only what their role permits.

Audit logging

Views, edits, status changes, and exports are recorded with actor, timestamp, and context.

Managed hosting

Hosted on managed cloud infrastructure with automated backups and isolated per-institution data scoping.

FERPA alignment

PathCheck is designed to operate as a school official with a legitimate educational interest, under institutional direction.

Contract and pricing terms
Standard pilot terms. Everything here is negotiable in the agreement.
Pricing
$3,000–$4,000 for the first-year pilot, invoiced annually.
Term
12 months, with 1–5 year renewal options available.
Payment
Check or ACH against a standard invoice. Purchase orders accepted and referenced on every invoice.
Terms
Net 30 by default; Net 15/45/60 available on request.
Renewal
Auto-renewal is optional and off by default; notice period is set in the agreement.
Termination
Either party may decline renewal with written notice. Data export is provided in CSV on request at any time.
Insurance & W-9
Certificate of insurance and W-9 provided on request during vendor onboarding.
Accessibility statement

The student application is built to WCAG 2.1 AA intent: keyboard-navigable, screen-reader labelled, high-contrast text, and mobile-first layouts that work on a phone without pinch-zoom.

We fix reported accessibility defects as priority issues and will participate in your institution's accessibility review. A formal VPAT is on the roadmap.
